Rules and Regulations
- Registration deadline is Friday, June 5, 2026
- Age limit 4-5 years old (Birthday before June 1, 2026).
- There will be a $15.00 entrance fee which will be paid by parent/guardian. (Make check payable to NHCYF & mailed to: NHCYF P.O. Box 131, New Haven, MO 63068 – Memo: Little Contest: Child’s Name).
- Contestants MUST be from the New Haven School, Franklin County R-II School, or have a New Haven Address.
- Attire is “Sunday Best Dress”. We are looking for simple sun/summer dresses or nice jeans/pants. Age-appropriate makeup is acceptable, but not required. NO PAGEANT DRESSES ALLOWED.
- Contestants who win Mr. and Miss won’t be able to participate in the following years.

Requirements of the Child
Contestants will be requested to walk on stage, while their bio gets read, and answer two random questions.
*Save the Date: Picture Day – Group picture of the contestants: Saturday, June 20, 2026 @ 9:00 am located at the Lions Field Park: 101 Lions Dr, New Haven MO 63068. Picture will be posted to Facebook and published in the Newspaper.
Judging
Three competent and unbiased judges will be selected at random and will select the winner(s),Queen & King. Contestants will be judged on the following standards:
- Overall Appearance – 30%
- Personal Questions – 30%
- Smile –20%
- Walk – 20%
Prizes and Awards
All Contestants will receive:
- Goodie Bag
The winners will receive something special!
